Never made it to Poly ... and Contemporary really didn't have much beyond the huge tree out front and a Pinocchio gingerbread house in what is becoming a rundown lobby.

It wasn't crowded, the temp was great, we never shivered, we didn't get sunstroke, it couldn't have been more perfect! However, the Disney pools, like at the Poly and the AK, are not heated as nicely and my boys have not been comfortable swimming in them in Dec.

The water was a lot closer to 70 degrees than the 80 that all pools are supposed to be. It's all to save money. And something that is part and parcel of the 'Declining By Degrees' that Kevin Yee wrote about.
