I wasn't able to be there when they arrived, and I wanted their arrival to be special. I had to work late and flew in after the kids were asleep. It certainly is expensive, but they LOVED it! I would say if spending the money isn't going to hurt a whole lot it is fun. There were lots of balloons and Mickey footprints and banners decorating the room. On a trip when I arrived at the same time as the kids I brought stuff with me. But treating them to a special arrival with a banner and confetti and stuffed animals started all of our trip off with a bang. I was very happy to have done it.
