Okay, I needed high school algebra II (which I just finished) and plane geometry (which I start taking in the fall), but otherwise, I'm doing VERY well. I made the Part Time Dean's Honor List last semester and have a 4.0 GPA so far.

Now I'm between semesters and am going stir crazy! I did 8 units in 8 weeks and had gotten so accustomed to being busy after work I don't know what to do!

September 2 (first class of fall) can't come quick enough!

Does that make me a total nerd?

As for stir crazy, I find television very helpful in curing that problem. :p

I couldn't be prouder of you if you were my own son.

Actually, it wasn't that hard, but it does require focus and determination. I did learn the importance of planning my time and coming home from work every day and doing homework. I had a few bad algebra tests but those actually motivated me to work harder to learn the subjects and improve. My final exam was worth 200 points and I got 191, so the extra work paid off. What surprised me the most was the fact that my 3 unit course (English 101) was so much more work than my 5 unit course (Math 125 - Intermediate Algebra). Ah well, now I'm looking forward to my next semester, which is cool. :)

I actually enjoy the math. I hate writing (although, I'm apparently good at it...who knew?). Math is actually simple if you break it down and it's clean...you either get the right answer or you don't. Writing is subjective...will the reader like it?

Congrats! That is awesome! Keep up the good work - and the interest/excitement level. I think its wonderful and shows that you appreciate what you've got going on in your life right now. That's cool.
