    I've only eaten at an ESPN Zone once, and it was for free. So if any or all of them closed, I wouldn't miss it much. However, any empty retail space is problematic, especially at DLR and WDW.

    i did find it interesting that when we were in las vegas about a month ago there was a miminum amount that had to be spent every hour you occupied seating.
    also there were obvious openings, but they wanted to put us on a waiting list. (maybe not enough servers so they had areas closed?) but in lv there are plenty of other places to eat and waiting to eat in vegas is kind of a waste of your time. just move along and there will be a dozen other choices of restaurants.

    DDD is the best show on the Food Network. One of my local places got on it once :)

    But yes, you scared me a bit here. I don't care much for the ESPNZone is Chicago anymore, but the one in WDW is nice to go to between the Studios and EPCOT.

    And I love going to the live radio shows and actually being able to ask questions and not have to hope to get through to some phone guy.

    I'm not a sports fan at all, so much of the joy of listening to and watching very loud sporting events was lost on me.

    That said, the carrot cake dessert was pretty amazing.

    As for the food, if you were to blindfold someone with a meal from ESPN, Chilli's, TGI-Fridays or Applebee's I don't think you could tell the difference.

    It helps that they have pretty decent food there as well...
