    I think you'll be in good shape, even if it's an Indian Summer, it should cool off to the 60s or 70s and be light jacket weather in the evenings by late October.

    You'll love your visit in the fall. We go to DLR every fall and absolutely love it. The days are still warm (unless you get a hot spell!!) and it cools down nicely in the evening. Sometimes we put a sweater on, sometimes not. Be sure to sit next the fire in the lobby of GCH. If you have kids, you can take them to the free storytelling in the evenings while you relax with a hot drink from the Hearth Lounge!
