I know it gets brutally hot there in the summer, but it wasn't that big to begin with and other other outdoor option for Cosmic- the outdoor tables on the Speedway side, don't have near the atmosphere that the castle side has. But, then again, I remember when they re-did the Crystal Palace and closed in part of the porch and thinking what a shame it was. I honestly had forgotten about that until now!

We ended up on the exterior castle side, and surprised that hardly anyone was out there. I think its possible that many people don't even realize it's there. There were guests standing and waiting and going outside on the other side of the bldg. Maybe if they close it in and take down the wall between there and the condiment bar, people will flow to that area. As for heat, I can't imagine that has much to do with it, I mean it's been the way it is now for decades on end. *shrug*
