Originally Posted By mawnck >>The most glaring mistake was Pricklepants narrating. That got old quickly.<< Agreed. What the heck was the point of that? It made super-explicit the fact that they were doing a horror movie parody (which should have been self-evident if they were doing a good job), while at the same time ruining whatever genuine suspense they were trying to build up. Come to think of it, the biggest problem with this whole show was that it was too dang talky! I thought the "shower scene", such as it was, was the best part, but even it was kiddie'd down to practically nothing.

Honestly a didn't expect much from a 30 minute television special, so I was pleasantly surprised. I thought it was kinda fun. I thought prickly pants narrating fit his character. He's supposed to be the one that takes "the arts" very seriously, so it made sense that he would want to show off that he knew so much about horror films. I also felt it was also kind of a nod to some of the early Scream films where the characters would talk about what happened in a horror film as the horror film played out. *Spoiler alert* For us the laugh out loud moment happened during the credits with the hotel manager trying to get away.
