It was okay and when everything was working properly I would wait for 20 minutes to ride it. the new Test Track is kind of a cold attraction now. There are no moving parts, mechanicals, animatronics..well the doors to the speed run move. It is all lighting and projections. The art design is awesome though. It looks great. The hill climb is the best but the ride gets old really quick in my opinion.I don't feel quite as compelled to ride it. I suppose this saves money on maintenance. New Fantsyland was nice. When the coaster is completed and the trees all grow in it will be great but a bit empty of content. Little Mermaid ride seems to run a bit faster here which works much better for the. The queue was nice. Didn't like the idea of the circus. It seems okay and still am not excited about it after seeing it. Thought the editing on Country bear Jamboree was fine. It moved smoothly and I did not miss all the dialogue as much as I thought. The editing on the Tiki Room worked okay but it was jarring after having memorized the original. (I first saw it in 1965) Captain Jack attraction at the Studios is definitly better than Narnia, but not a lot better. There were a couple of good effects and some good humor. Impressions de France was so much improved. I had forgot about the digital until the film started and the panels were rock solid. But the restoration was the revelation. My memories of this film are always of a dated, faded grainy film. It did not fell like the same movie. Monsieur Paul opened while we were there. Had not intended on going but ended up there. Had never been to Bistro de Paris. It was a very nice space. Not too big and not to crammed together. Service was excellent and food was very good. Had the complimentary escargot (had never tasted snails before) and it was fine if a bit chewy. Part way into our meal they seated a family with a baby next to us. Baby was fine but they pulled out a plastic Mickey bowel and pulled out a foil pouch, cut it open and slopped the food into the bow. Next out came a gaudy sippy cup. Waiter delivered the complimentary escargot and that plate was pushed around the table but nothing taken. They did keep the baby quite. Universal Shreck 4D. One of the worst attractions I waited in line for. Macy's parade was really fun. I am not a big Harry Potter fan. Just recently saw all the movies and I thought they were verying degrees of good to very good. Was looking forward to Potterland though. Wizarding World was stunning looking, a bit small but as it was overcast the times we went the look of the village was perfect. Had a good English breakfast in the Three broomsticks. Forbidden Journey. I get motion sickness really easy. I get it a bit on Peter Pan and Soarin, and a lot on all coasters, Tower of terror and the worst is simulators. I debated about riding Harry Potter, but I just had to. I couldn't stand there looking at the awesome Hogwarts and not go in. The queue is an attraction on it's own. I saw about 25% of the ride. I got sick with in 25 seconds from the beginning so closed my eyes most of the time. I got to see quite a few of the real sets and scenes as opposed to the filmed sections. I thought is was in the top 5 rides of all time. Wish I could see the whole thing. I was feeling sickly for about 5 hours after though. I look forward to all the new Potter stuff and getting sick (at least once) on the Gringot's Coaster. Having now seen all this new stuff I to believe Disney is starting to loose it. The front gate staff at Universal were engaging, funny, jokey and seemed to want to be there. The front gate CM's at Disney were mostly doing their job but in a forlorn, stressed manner. Wizarding World way surpassed anything Disney has done (except Carsland which we saw 2 weeks previously). Carsland is very close to Potter though Radiator Springs Racers is a just a bit below Forbidden Journey. Disney really needs all it's departments to come together and create something spectacular for WDW, and not a repeat of Carsland. While I am not excited at the idea of Avatar in the AK I think it would at least look awesome and be a great environment. If the main attraction is a simulator then they have lost.

Add into that the boon of the ECVs (and now people standing on trailers hitched to the back of ECVs for a ride) and the parks are a hassle to get around without getting run over or bumped into. <<Shreck 4D. One of the worst attractions I waited in line for. >> It's flat out terrible. But it gets long lines and sells merch, so I don't hold out much hope that it's going anywhere soon.

It'd be worth it to see the other 75% of Forbidden Journey

I have also tried Bonine (Mechlazine) the "less" drowsy formula of dramamine and it makes me sleepy as well and only worked a bit on the motion sickness. Have also tried ginger, gigner pills, sea bands and something els I don't remember. Next is to try the patch form the doctor.

We have reservations there (it was still Bistro when we booked it) in January as a celebration dinner during Marathon Weekend. I was a little worried about the redo (though I never dined in the original), so it's good to hear that it's still a really nice experience. Our reservations are for around 7:15, which I'm hoping means we'll get to watch Illuminations from up there!
