Instead of waiting at a ticket booth, they simply scanned your pass each day and added the charge to your account. Like Disney, they had graduated pricing, and the additional days were priced as the difference between multi-day tickets. It was really convenient if you weren't sure exactly how many days your wanted to ski (or if you wanted to do a half day), but I suppose Disney likes to lock guests in as early as possible to get them to book more days. I skied at Park City last weekend (which was recently acquired by the company that runs Vail), and it appears that this system is no longer in use
