We had to wait for a while for my other friends to show up...so we got fastpasses for Space Mountain, went to City Hall to get me a birthday sticker and phonecall, and just took in a little of the nice Disneyland atmosphere. Once everyone showed up, we went on Haunted Mansion Holiday. It was really great this year...though I don't think I saw any changes from last year. Afterwards, we went on Pirates, because I always make sure I go on Haunted Mansion and then Pirates first thing at Disneyland. I was wearing my pink fluffy tiara which got a lot of attention. I got many a "Happy Birthday, Princess Gabi!" because my nametag said Gabi and I was wearing a tiara. Pirates was extremely fun, except my friends were being a little too inappropriate and there were kids on the boat with us. I let 'em have it though. : ) My boyfriend promised me 16 birthday kisses...so I was getting those periodically as well. After Pirates, we did some nice shopping in New Orleans Square, and got a little too Pirate Happy in Pieces of Eight. Right after that, we got fast passes for Splash Mountain and then rode Thunder Mountain twice in a row. Then, we spent some quality time in Fantasyland, taking pictures and shopping in Once Upon a Time, which is a teenage princesses favorite store. A few of my friends bought me little trinkets like keychains and rings, but then my friend Eric began distracting me by waltzing with me to "Once Upon a Dream." Aww cute. While he was whirling me around and singing I was having a great time and didn't even realize he was creating a diversion. I noticed that my boyfriend was at the cash register, so he flung me outside. We saw Aurora so we gave her "guard" our camera. I was getting annoyed because so many little girls were taking pictures with her (SERIOUSLY, WHAT'S THEIR PROBLEM?! heehee.) But finally she tapped me on the shoulder and said "Princess Gabi, may I take a photo with you?" and I felt honored! Finally I caught up to my boyfriend, and I noticed he was carrying a pretty big bag. I was a little upset because I didn't want him to spend too much money on me...but he did anyways hahaha. He bought me a really beautiful music box. One side is Belle in her little town with Gaston and her papa and the other side is her with the Beast and Lumiere and Cogsworth and the gang. Beauty and the Beast is my absolute favorite movie, and that was the best present I could ever get. We got some food, and I got the vegetarian gumbo from NOS because it is my favorite. Oooh it was so good. Afterwards, we rode Space Mountain, took pictures, just had a lot of fun. The best part was just being acknowledged by the cast members and actually feeling like a princess. I've never been to Disneyland on my birthday, so it was really wonderful. At night, it was beautiful. We watched some of the parade, and I sang a whole lot of songs out loud with my friend Eric who is a fellow Disney movie lover. We saved Peter Pan for last, and it was definitely the best ride on it of my life. I took the advice that someone posted and stole a kiss in the second room over Neverland. It was a day I will never forget! Ohhh Disneyland is so great for magical things like your sweet sixteen. : ) THANKS DISNEYLAND!

(Of course, I'd rather see that happen on HMH, would make for a much funnier picture ha ha) However, if my lovely daughter starts kissing someone in front of me I would probably die. <---makes note to self that DD is turning 16, not 6 and one must lighten up Alas, there is no significant other that she has that I yet know of, so us parental units should have a great time. P.S. - I as a mom think they should have rolled out the red princess carpet for you and tooted those horns anouncing your arrival. 16 is a big deal to my Tiggerbell, as I'm sure it was to you as well!!!

You get to hear Goofy wishing you a happy birthday and singing heehee. Actually, when I was getting my new AP picture taken, the CM saw my sticker and asked if it was actually my birthday, and didn't believe me when I said yes! Hahaha. But then she looked at my AP information and was sort of embarassed.
