We were about to turn left to go around the building and right back to the middle, but instead we turned right. We ended up by what looked liked a building to greet characters, but in there was a room with all kinds of cool stuff in it. Photos from each country, displays and models about Horizons... Some of it looked familiar like I had seen it somewhere before, but in about 10 trips we have never seen this place. Anyone know of any other "cool hidden places"?

In late February 1986, I was a senior at Wagner College in New York. We were sitting around talking about Spring Break plans -- someone said 'We should go to Walt Disney World.' As a poor student, I chuckled thinking that it was impossible. Someone said 'It's only 27 hours by car.' *BING* Flash forward, and I was in the car driving to Walt Disney World in a beat up K car, with my girlfriend at the time. The trip was so fun, and so spontaneous [we slept in the car the first night because we couldn't locate any hotels!], and overall was so great. My girlfriend had never been to a Disney theme park before. But I digress... The Magic Kingdom was okay to me. I felt then, and feel today, that Disneyland is the better of those parks. But it was great to see 'Hall of Presidents' 'If You Had Wings' and some of the other differences between the two parks. When I got to EPCOT Center, I was absolutely blown away. All those great Future World ride-through attractions. All those great AA figures that you could practically reach out and touch. The wonderful theme songs in each pavilion. The CircleVision movies. The World Showcase pavilions. To me, back in 1986, EPCOT Center was everything that Disney theme parks could possibly be, and more. Not a lot of character stuff. The walk-around Mickey and Minnie characters were there, but it was all 'original' Disney stuff. It was easily one of my top Disney theme park experiences ever in my life.

We were not disappinted. Haven't been disappointed yet. With all its changes over the years, it is still our favorite WDW park- no contest.

They are some of the best rides in all of Disney World. And Epcot has the best dining in all of Disney World too. Nothing beats Epcot. It's also a great atmosphere park. I would be completely okay just walking the park, it's so enchanting, even Future World. Yes, Epcot is definitely one of my favorites.

I don't want to come off sounding like Otis the town drunk, and you can drink at DHS and DAK. But between the wine and beer stops out on the World Showcase, the fine wines with dinner, and the excellent Rose & Crown Pub, all combined with the fact that you can take a drink out on your wanderings, it all adds up to a totally delightful place to spend your evenings. Them Brits sure know how to mix a martini!
