They take a swipe of your credit card, and if you fail to return within 60 minutes with a purchase and receipt from that 60 minute window, you are charged the adult price of a one day Disneyland ticket. People have tried to push this by coming in 70 or 80 minutes after they arrived, and they get charged the 56 bucks for a ticket. Most everything is available at World of Disney anyway, so the argument that you had to get some specific item and couldn't do it in 60 minutes time never flies with Guest Relations. You'll be charged the price of a day ticket if you are late.
