DD woke up about the time he went outside and we discussed getting to AK for breakfast. I wanted them to go on without me, and I was going to join them mid-morning. I hate to pay all that money for a meal when I don't eat anything. She was actually pretty tired herself by now, and the thought of going into that park where it's always hotter than the other parks, didn't appeal to her either. We decided to wait until DGD woke up and let her decide if she really wanted to go or not. The alternate plan was to go to the Studios as we were all looking forward to seeing Phineas and Ferb at their new meet n' greet. We LOVE that show. When it's on, we're all watching it. It's totally predictible, but we still love it. Plus, Ferb reminds us of DH's late uncle..high water pants and all!! DGD woke shortly, and we discussed it, and briefly she seemed a little let down, but quickly warmed to the idea of P&F. DH had come back in at the end of the discussion and he was very happy to to skip AK today ( also due to the heat thing). We sent him back off to the Concerige desk to see if it was open yet and to cancel our TH ADR's We took our time getting out since we really didn't have to stick to a schedule today, and we hopped a bus and got to the Studios around 10:00 AM. I was fairly certain that we'd not have much of a chance to do TSM, even with a Fast Pass until much later, and as we walked by, the times were crazy. The park was pretty crowded already. We decided to see what the lines looked like for Star Tours, and DH and DGD grabbed FP's for around 12:30, as we headed to the P & F meet area. The line was fairly long there. The little sideshow ( about the Hollywood film maker making a movie about P&F) was going on, so it helped to pass some of the time. It probably took close to 45 minutes to get to them, but DGD and DH didn't mind. In fact, when it was their turn, DH almost ran over DGD to get to them!! We were laughing and giving him a hard time about running over the little ones!! The characters were wonderful, and took plenty of time with everyone. The PP photographer was also very good and didn't rush anyone ( which is good when you're the ones with the characters..not so much when you're standing somewhere in the line to see them) It was incredibly HOT. I wanted to just go over and get right into the fountain by the Muppets 3-D area and sit right down in the middle of it, and stay there all day!! After saying "good-bye" to our new friends, P & F, we headed back towards Star Tours just as it started to rain. They got into the FP line, and DD and I went to find a place to get some lunch. We had skipped breakfast, and we were getting hungry and hoping for a place to get dry and cool..
