    Jim was just an amazing soul. He gifted us with amazing characters and stories. I hate to think what my life would have been like without the Muppets' influence.

    I was a freshman in high school. I loved the Muppets, Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock. My Mom took me to the movies, even the Dark Crystal. So I felt terrible.

    What was surprising to me, was I found out at lunch and I was with a dozen or so other teen girls. And everyone was sad. It wasn't like anyone was thinking, "Muppets were for babies." We all knew the world had lost someone special. A true creative genius.
