As part of the 50th Anniversary, we should all honor the President of the DLR, and his comments.

Therefore, there will be NO LP voting for the 2006 winner, and that Matt Ouimet has the vote that counts!!!

So as we celebrate the New Year, we should also celebrate Popcorn as the winner for the 2006 Snackie winner!!!!!!

And why should we honor his comments? Coming from the man who hates Outdoor Vending with a passion, his comments mean very little to me.

(love you iluvdisneyland, mean it! Please don't ever tell me about the cleaning of the carts. Someone did the same to me about hot dogs. It took two whole weeks before I'd eat one again.)

I applaud his efforts to achieve a better balance between ODV, food outlets, shops, and the Disneyland show.

(P.S. I also know that he favors Turkey Legs, but would never dream of telling anyone else.)

Great. You also don't work in Outdoor Vending, more specifically you did not work in Outdoor Vending the day he spent a whopping five minutes in our complex and was overheard saying to Greg Emmer (another idiot) that he does not like our department.

I would think you would be pleased that someone in the upper echelons has actual experience in the trenches.

Whatever the context of their statements, I can understand why they may well criticize the state that ODV had reached by the start of their tenure. With many others, I had become increasingly unhappy by the spread of ODV carts in Disneyland. This doesn't mean I hate ODV, it just means that I felt that there was too much emphasis on this form of selling, particularly at the expense of the rest of the Disneyland show.
