(Dinner at 9:30pm is better then 6:30pm) Late night snacks (or meals) are even better. 4) Don't wait until the last minute to use the restroom (unless you know of a hidden one that no one remembers). 5) Buy merchandise early & head back to room (or car) to put it away. Or buy at end of the party. Do you really want to haul it around all night? 6) Be careful of parkhopping (for those of us on the west coast). Remember it's a GradNite. Do you really want to be stuck "in the wrong park" if the other park closes it's gate? 7) Remember those strollers, cranky kids, etc that tend to go home, the later it gets? They won't be leaving. Plenty of people will be there for the duration which means strollers, cranky kids & cranky adults for the duration. Learn to just ignore the issues. 8) Do the things you can't do any other time. Pictures with the characters in pjs, dance parties, eating foods that are special to the event, etc. 9) Sit and people watch. There'll be plenty of people who'll catch your attention. Those who attend in their pjs, Those who act silly, & unfortunately those who lose their tempers. If the crowds become overwhelming, it's a way to calm your spirit, so that you can continue with the party. 10) Remember, if it's your first time, it's lots of other people's first time too. They are not coming to the event prepared for the inevitable problems that come with people who've been up for 24 hours or more. So let the little things go and just try to have fun. Remember, you can always ride that attraction, buy that churro, or see that show, another time. Well folks, for those who've gone before, did I cover it all? What did I miss?

Crowds were way better then the Leap Day party, I guess from being distributed in 2 parks. People were not nearly as cranky as I expected & except for the mountains & Racers, most all the lines were reasonable. When Peter Pan, Pirates & Haunted Mansion are all 30 minutes or less - you know it's a good day. As for my list - we carried a backpack for the jackets, ate at 3pm & 9pm & did things like watch Aladdin that we don't normally do. Saw characters, took pictures with our Disney club at midnight, bought one small item that we were ok carrying around & pin traded with cast members. Hope others had as good an experience as we did. (Even the traffic when we left was way better then expected. Good for Anaheim!)

Originally Posted By Hats and Wands >>And from most APers being blocked out<< Wrong info. Passes were blocked out for Saturday - not Friday. That is except for the SoCal Select which is M-T only. APs might not have been able to get back in once the park re-opened on Sat at 9am, but 6am Friday to 6am Saturday, was not blacked out.

I wish I had been at the Leap Year at DL so I could say I did them both. Probably couldn't survive another and Do Not Recommend It unless you are young...But I did it p.s. Disneyland's looked like it was more fun What do you think?

(was also a part of the midnight group photo of Friends of the Mouse **Hi Hats and Wands!!**) We started off with the Eye-Scream sundae and it was amazing (and so cute). We tried the special Mac/cheese/bacon flatbread in DCA and it was ok. There were a lot of specialty food items available which was great to have offered. There were lots of photo opps and we really enjoyed what Toontown had to offer this time around..characters in their pajamas, karaoke and cartoons on a big inflatable screen while lounging in bean bag chairs. So awesome. We walked on so many of the rides - such a huge contrast to the Leapyear 24 hour shindig.
