And I recently spoke with a friend who is an executive with a major oil company who is CONVINCED that $200 per barrel is right around the corner. For those who might be skeptical, just look at how many experts (perhaps a majority?) insisted that $100 would NEVER happen (even a year or two ago). So, where would that leave us? I'm thinking there will be a boom in alternative energies for a start. I even read somewhere that coal becomes viable at $200. Interesting food for thought (unless of course, you drive an SUV...then it's just a nightmare lol).
