I vaguely remember liking when she hosted before (and generally like her other stuff too), so that wasn't a huge surprise. Definitely a welcome change of pace after last year!

The problem with the show the past few years are the winners are pretty much known ahead of time since there are Guild awards that kind of takes away any real suspsense. And I have seen 6 of the 9 films nominated for Best Picture, except Philomena, Nebraska and 12 Years. The latter 2 I'll watch this week, the former I'm not really interested. But of the films I did see I would have gone like this 1. Captain Phillips 2. Her 3. Wolf of Wall Street 4. Gravity 5. American Hustle 6. Dallas Buyers Club
