They're going to be facing a bunch of people with an axe to grind against what's left of SHIELD (and possibly against Couslon himself, since you'd assume many of these guys wound up in the Fridge thanks to him) and some nasty weapons and mysterious objects, and now they can't depend on this massive and technologically advanced support structure to back them up. Coulson and his team may be motivated to go after HYDRA, but they're going to have a lot of roadblocks to impede them in their goal - not to mention having to deal with a traitor in their midst. If the show gets renewed, it's going to be an fun ride.
