Originally Posted By FerretAfros I tracked down the original press release (kudos to LP for picking this story up before any of the crazy running blogs, especially when everybody was paying attention right after registration opened!), and it's definitely official, though the wording of which medals are new is somewhat confusing. It specifically mentions new medals for Goofy (image shown), Minnie, and Donald (which will be the 4th new Donald medal in 4 years), but just says that finishers will recieve the Mickey and Dopey medals without saying whether they're changing. Does the "all new" in the headline refer to those 3 medals (and presumably the 5K medallion which traditionally changes annually), or all of the medals?
