    It's also neat to see the original Theater of the Stars, and that the show appeared to have a live band on stage. That's definitely something you wouldn't be able to find any more!

    It's also really interesting that the original fireworks show appeared to take place at the north end of the park, near the entrance (unless those photos of are Illuminations, but that seems unlikely). The then-groundbreaking Sorcery in the Sky used the Chinese Theater as a focal point, so it seems odd that the original show was in the other direction. It's also interesting that they didn't intent for the park to stay open late, yet had so many great neon signs that bring the area to life after dark

    Happy 25th to the little park that could!

    The fireworks Tribute to Hollywood was definitely at the Studios, and pre-dated Sorcery in the Sky. I think the idea was to lure everyone up on to Hollywood Boulevard to shop and get out!

    I was surprised in reviewing my video to see that the stage band was, indeed, live. Those guys must have been sweltering up there!

    I LOVED Warner Brothers musicals, and not only shot stills of By a Waterfall, I have great video of it, too! Maybe we will see that another day...
