The Trip: We left Pasadena Sunday morning, Aug 6th for a long 35 minutes drive to DLR. You’ve got to love Sunday morning light traffic. Pulled up in front of DLH and dropped the girls off along with our luggage and they check it in and I went to park the car. Since this is my vacation and I don’t plan on driving anywhere I can’t see paying $12.00 a day more for valet parking. The girls were checking us in when I got to the lobby and the CM said we had a suite in the Bonita tower. We’ve always done a one bedroom suite in the Marina tower and my wife asked if there was anything available there. She checked and said no but she had stayed in the same type of suite a couple of weeks ago and we would love it. My, was she right. We headed right over to the park as we have AP’s. I was concerned about the using the monorail with the one way running but we never waited more than 10 minutes coming or going. Got into the park by 10:15, went on a couple of rides, had lunch, road a couple of more rides and call around 2:30 to see if our suite was ready. It was, so we headed back to DLH. Got our key cards, 9th floor and went over to the Bonita tower. We walked down to the end of the hall to a door which accessed two rooms. Went in and the another door on the right opened into the one bedroom suite. Went in, ½ bath, full wet bar with a refrigerator and counter, living room which large chairs, couch, desk, TV, balcony with chairs and table looking west, sliding glass door overlooking the DLH resort, glass door which opened into the large bedroom also with sliding glass door looking out at the resort and full bath. We left the sliding glass door open at night and the sound of the waterfall was priceless. The door on the left entered into a room which the girls used. It had two queen beds, couch, TV, also a balcony with chairs and table and full bath. Had our luggage brought up and requested door wedges to prop the doors open. We gained the width of the hall and did it make the suite huge. We completely enjoyed our trip and the suite. With two teenage girls giggling and text messaging on their cell phones till late at night there isn’t an early start in the mornings. Typical day, breakfast in the room with food we brought, head to one of the parks around 10:30 and back over to DLH around 3:00 or 4:00. Girls go swimming, my wife takes a nap and I go down to the Lost Bar for a couple of drinks, then an early dinner in DTD and back to the parks for the evening. Well it will be another year except for some day trips to the parks. Can’t wait until the 5th annual vacation at Disneyland :)

Oh and what I would not do for a 35 min drive to DL. We live in Northern CA and it usually takes us 6 to 7 hours sometimes more all depending on the traffic.

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful trip!

We've stayed in the same type suite a couple of times now and I agree that they are really, really nice, it's kind of weird though how you never know what you are going to get. I love that the "kids" can feel like they have their own room but really don't :)

Thanks for letting us share in your fun :)
