Looks like a fun show, but there are so many things in it that just wouldn't fly these days. It had everything from performers jumping off ledges, Minnie's "generic ethnic" accent, the coin costume, dancers lifting each other high in the air, and who could forget "the gorgeous, tall, and leggy Disney girls". Plus the overall focus on non-Disney movies (even if the show stars Disney characters) just seems like something they wouldn't even attempt any more

There was also a pretty rough transition from Donald doing Hamlet in 1948 to Tigger dancing to Stayin' Alive, but it did bring in some energy for a strong finale. I can't believe how quickly guests stood up to leave, but it did look rather warm, so maybe they were just looking for shade

    Great recording!

I'm a little confused about the music. It looks like the band is live, but I would assume that the majority of the dialogue and singing was recorded. How did they keep them synched up? I'm pretty sure this was before click tracks were being used (though I think the practice became popular with Phantom, which was around the same era)

Another thing to make you go "hmmm:" During the western number, as Br'er Bear is singing "Back in the Saddle," the chorus girls are singing in counterpoint with the Aggie Song from Best Little Whorehouse in Texas!
