The price is pretty steep for the event, but not entirely unreasonable. Personally, I'd rather spend that same amount of money on tickets to the Broadway (or national tour) Lion King production, since it's undoubtedly got a larger cast, longer run-time, and more fleshed out storyline, rather than a narration with some visuals. I can see the potential for appeal with this, but it doesn't do much for me

I think it could be fun, but I would have to see what the food would be and who would be narrating before I decided to spend the money. I do think that they should change the ages for an adult ticket though, considering people between the ages of 10 and 20 will not be drinking alcohol.

That's what prompted me to say that the ticket prices are high.

Yes, you get admission into the park for the event (like the Christmas and Halloween parties), but the event itself is only about 3 hours long. Even compared to a 1-day ticket (which nobody actually buys) that's a really steep price

Perhaps they'll let you enter the park early, like the do for the other parties, but there's been no indication of that so far. And for what it's worth, I've heard a rumor that a similar after-hours show/party event will be coming to one of the other parks (logic would indicate the Studios since it's the only one without one now)

With one exception, the narrators are all listed already. I agree that it would be nice to have an idea of the food (especially since most of us aren't especially familiar with African flavors), but if the meals I've had at Tusker House and Sanaa are any indication, the food will be delicious and approachable by picky eaters. Some of it sounds scary, but once you see it it's a lot of grains and veggies, and surprisingly few spicy dishes

And Boma. And if it's Jiko quality, it might be worth the price.
