The "blue carpet" for High School Musical 2 was hands down the most fan frenzied I have ever seen. The kids KNOW their Disney Channel stars. So, Disney Channel Weekend out here would be at DCA (naturally!). There would be a motorcade along the entertainment corridor. Autograph locations. Guest panels. And a big concert stage where the X Games arena was built-- backstage between the Farm and Pacific Wharf. Save the Golden State Amphitheater for panel discussions. And Stage 17 would be a great place for a smashing party on Saturday night. Or a series of parties with sets by various bands. That way more guests could be accommodated. I hope someone from Disney Channel promotions is reading all this. The idea is free! And I think it's a really good one.

Your idea Rebekah has the potential to match Star Wars week-ends in attendance. There has to be a logistics problem or something along that line. I would suppose all of the Stars of the Disney Channel have some kind of promotional appearance clause in their contracts.
