I kinda thought so too, given the circumstances.

GUTSY CALL for the CiC, to say the least.

If it blew up in his face, he'd be facing the music right now!

    Just sayin...

(for the morons, that means "HE DID IT!"...so you can't take the credit away...if "HE FAILED!", the you can give all the blame to him, too)

OT, I know, but that just brought to mind Pillsbury's attempt to horn in on the Kool-aid market from the 60's/70's. Anyone remember Funny Face?

Featuring Choo Choo Cherry (taking the place of the unfortunate "Chinese Cherry" - click on the link), Goofy Grape, etc. etc.

wow, you are proud of those things? I am immensely embarrassed by them and they are many of the reasons why I felt Bush was evil and the worst President in US history (besides the fact that the first time around he wasn't even democratically elected).

What I find amusing is the fact that some like Donny here consider them "points of pride" that they somehow think Obama would want to "steal" from the Bush legacy.

    Nope. Bush owns them. Forever.

I agree and I hate it.

Granted, he ran into fierce opposition (let's even call it total stonewalling), but somehow as CiC he still needs to find a way to get rid of these horrible things or that will be a black mark on HIS legacy as well.

I haven't seen a story yet that said the enhanced interrogation tactics played NO part in the eventual killing of bin Laden. I've seen many stories arguing how much of a role enhanced interrogation played.

No, because it has plenty of facts to back it up.

You right wingers should be outraged by the fact that it took ACTIVIST JUDGES in order for Bush to win, even though 500,000 more of your fellow citizens wanted the other guy.

These facts are not in dispute. Nothing birther about it.

    Try again.
