After the first time I saw the habitats in DAK for many of its animals I imagined a whole new section of animal kingdom dedicated to the diverse animals of China. A very large habitat for Captive pandas would probably be quite an experience and definitely much better than some of the small habitats I have seen in other zoos that are part of the program

I saw the pandas at the National Zoo in DC and was quite underwhelmed with their habitat; I think Disney could do a much better job, at least from a design perspective I know that a large part of the reason to build Shanghai Disneyland was to get a permanent and visible Disney presence in mainland China to act as a foot in the door to other opportunities (including stopping copyright infringement). I wonder if that relationship could help lead to getting pandas
