That said, I do like the idea of letting off-site guests pre-purchase their MBs so that their tickets are automatically loaded on them. On-site guests currently get their hotel room and park tickets automatically loaded, so I see no reason that they can't upcharge the off-site guests for that same 'privelage'

Do you remember Disney Dollars? Same idea; it's pointless basically, but it's DISNEY.

Not to mention they're uncomfortable to wear because the rubber is hard and does not mold to the shape of the wrist. But yes, they are "handy". get it? LOL

I always thought of Disney Dollars as a 'fun' version of a gift certificate, which you could actually get change from, unlike most gift certificates that had to be used as the full value. I still have a couple Disney Dollars lying around somewhere as souvenirs

I've found that wearing it 'upside down' (so the Mickey head points away from you when you look at it like a watch) makes it a lot more comfortable. I don't know if it's just the shape of my wrist that makes it work, but it's really not bad at all

You can't do that with a Magic Band--unless they're planning to put a date stamp on it in the future.
