The great thing about the Hollywood Bowl is that they have a wide range of ticket prices, from expensive to very inexpensive ones in the upper reaches of the seating, so that the shows are potentially affordable to many people. (I went with an NFFC group and our tickets were $22, I think.) And, it is easy to get to the Bowl via public transportation or buses from many satellite park and ride lots. BTW, the two numbers performed that were cut from the film are included on the Fantasia DVD set. Can't remember if they're on the disk with the movie or the bonus disk with the 3-disk collectors set. It is rumored that Destino may be included on an animation compilation disk that is in the works.

The Conductor John Mauceri pointed him out in the crowd and asked the crowd for applause because of all the hard work that Roy put into the completion of the Walt Disney and Salvadore Dali collaboration, "Destino". That was definitely one of the high points of the night.
