She doesn't have a song in the movie (the step sisters do Sing Sweet Nightingale, but it's lousy performance is part of the joke) so I'm not sure what she'd be performing. And I was under the impression that the castle restaurant was undergoing a multi-month refurbishment, though perhaps that hasn't started yet

Plus, operating margins have been down, so any manager that can show an increase gets to "keep their head." In that environment, a premium add-on to a premium add-on makes perfect sense.

Although I agree that some of those songs aren't great, whenever I watch the DVD I always feel like something's missing without the songs. Similarly, I always feel like something is wrong when I watch the DVD and Mr Toad doesn't go to hell or when the Haunted Mansion isn't terrible : )

I guess all the characters have to be multi-talented these days. They also have to know how to dance--which is something else a lot of them never did in their animated films.
