I like the shields with symbols representing each princess. Bell and Ariel have shields even though they won't meet there. However, Pocohontas and Mulan are NOT princesses. They were not born into a royal family and did not marry anyone royal. Princess Eilonwy is a real princess but is completely ignored! I wonder what her shield would be?

I can't help but think that the shields would have looked a lot better if they had been sculpted to look like they were made of bronze, rather than cheap print-outs of cartoony logos. I guess they fit with the surroundings, but I hoped they'd aim higher. I'm also not a fan of the gold columns in the queue. Like the tops of the WOC projection boxes in Paradise Bay, and the scrollwork on the Fairytale Hall marquee, there's just something about the color of them that make them look like they're plastic (which I'm sure they are). Real columns aren't covered in gold (even in castles), so it seems odd that they would choose that when there were more suitable materials available. And having them so close to the crown light fixtures with 'real' gold just makes them look that much worse, IMO As for who is a princess, I would say that Mulan isn't (though she was offered a position by the emperor), but Pocahontas essentially is. Still, I think they should set up meet and greets with Eilonwy, Leia, and Tiger Lily, all of whom are *actual* princess in their respective films. Giselle should be on the list too, but she never actually married the prince, so she's still a commoner

What do they know? But Cheap has always been the middle name of WDW. And what's with the ceiling fans? I have better and classier stuff in my home!! Then again, why try harder? This is just a photo parlor and NOT an attraction in my book. Any thing that generates profits pass what we pay at the ticket booth is not an attraction but a shop. So there. WDW guests don't deserve as good as California or Japan guests do.. or that's what management is telling us in a subtle way. How Rizzo of them.

It's true that Pocohantas was not a princess, however her father was the chief of the Powhatan tribe and she was presented to the English public as a princess.

Just because a crappy direct to video sequel calls her a princess does not make her one in reality." That doesn't change the fact that the English considered her a princess and treated her as such. Given that we're talking about a fantasy fairy tale meet & greet for kids at Disney World the trivial details of whether Pocahontas was technically a princess or not are unimportant.
