I know at one point in the US alone, there was the one in New York, one in LA, possibly one in Chicago, and 2-3 national tours all running simultaneously. Obviously they've been doing something to catch up on all that lost ground from Phantom's head start The article also mentioned how much they advertise for TLK, which I've really noticed in the last year or so (even though I don't live in the greater New York area). From what I've seen, Phantom does next to no advertising (though has a much bigger orchestra, and possibly bigger cast/crew), so I wonder how that impacts actual profits
