    >>Snacks: popcorn, ice cream, pastries. Light meals: hot dogs, quiches, and chicken wings.<<

Look how someone describes Main Street, U.S.A. at DLP...

    >>In Main Street U.S.A., you they will forget the agitation of the modern world to submerge in the noises and scents of the past.

Nothing else to cross the only entrance of the park, Main Street U.S.A. lays the way towards the diversion. Suddenly, one is in an American city of century principles. Lack does not detail, the bank, the city council, police that instead of persecuting thieves make photos to the viandantes, heladerías, coffees, stores and until barber's shop. Bands, horns, much activity and scent to popcorn just done. <<

What more says Main Street than the smell of Freshly made Popcorn???

Heck, they have Popcorn stands on EACH side of the castle...

    <a href="http://www.hiddenmickeys.org/Paris/English/Mickeys.html" target="_blank">http://www.hiddenmickeys.org/P

    >>There are popcorn vendors on both sides of the hub in front of the castle. One at the entrance to Frontierland, the other in front of Discoveryland. The little covered areas for the carts have flowery iron work on the top and there are blatant Mickey heads hidden in the decoration.<<

    Let's go to Tokyo....

    >>This is one Japanese tradition I occasionally break, as strolling around Disneyland while eating a box of popcorn is a small pleasure I have enjoyed all my life.<<

    >>You'll even find themed food items like honey flavored popcorn.<<

Check out the 11th photo, 6 different flavored popcorns are available.... YUM!

    >>Toons love popcorn even more than non-Toons do. This wagon serves Caramel Popcorn. They say the kernels come from the corn grown in Goofy's garden.<<

See, we know that Tinkerbell loves Popcorn, and here is an official Disney site saying that Mickey, Minnie and the gang love it too!!!! :)

And of course, we need to visit Florida...

    >>More than 46 million Cokes are consumed each year at Walt Disney World Resort. That goes with 7 million hamburgers, 5 million hot dogs, 5 million pounds of French fries and 265,000 pounds of popcorn.<<

Popcorn is THE snack that is available in the classic ODV carts at all the Dinsey parks, and will be found in Hong Kong when it opens later this year...

Folks, this is a special year, and deserves a special snack, a classic, one loved by Walt, and by folks around the world... Nothing say Disney more than a Popcorn Cart on Main Street, it is a important symbol that is seen at all the parks, and guests stand in line for the wonderful treat....

Folks, please recognize let alone the best snack in the park, but also the one with the most history.. we have all seen Walt snacking on Popcorn while standing at the Hub on the old Wonderful World of Disney shows... why, because Popcorn is part of Disneyland, other snacks have come and gone, but Popcorn remains, and still is a major draw for guests...

Popcorn is Happy Food, and asks for your vote, no matter where you live, what language you speak... It is THE Snack....

    Thank You! :)

Maybe Walt just didn't know any better. Maybe he just didn't have a choice. I used to think that potato chips where the only way to go until I tried Doritos.

The point was, POPCORN IS HAPPY FOOD. Rich in tradition and meaning, it would be just all kinds of wrong for any other snack to win the Snackie Award in this, the 50th anniversary of Disneyland.

    Vote Popcorn!

I LOVED the baked potatoes they sold in the Wheelhouse, across from the Stage Door Cafe in the early 90s. THOSE were the good old days.

(And I have no problem at all with a snack that eats like a meal. Really!)
