I was rather impressed by this article. I think he under estimates the capacity of a conventional force properly trained in counter insurgency and coupled with an effective hearts and minds campaign can achieve, though I think his assessment of the effectiveness of such forces as currently constituted in current conflicts is fairly astute. I particularly like the way he set out his priorities in correcting the situation- it's not just a we're all wrong article but suggests solutions.

I hope mr. bush is prepping now. Don't think for a second i want him to lose. I want bush to listen to this fellow, and argue every point until everyone agrees, or then you tell me.

But then i will feel like an american again.

Full translation, nothing censored, everything broadcast, live, no delay, world wide, bush talking debating if you want with this leader of iran, one of bush's and my fears.

Why not? If i'm there, i guarantee you everyone will feel happier about being human beings.
