Here's the current building under renovation: http://www.disneygeek.com/upda..._image=1 Concept art: http://ocresort.ocregister.com...ited.jpg Obviously there's a lot left to do, but I'd think that at this point we'd be seeing the roof being demolished for construction of the new shape shown in the artwork. If this building turns out to be different from what was shown to the public it will be the second or third PP project that bears little resemblance to the concept drawings, which is unusual for Disney. The Swings' support structure is different and the themed entrance to the Mickey Wheel and its wrap around promenade were axed altogether. Does anyone have any thoughts or information about the restaurant project? I'm curious like Constance.

And that's my concern about this new "garden" area overall - that it's going to have two giant coasters on either side of it. 'Screamin' I can forgive because it's such a centerpiece for the entire area. But there's just no good reason to keep that eyesore wedged between a seaside victorian pier and two of their premium resort hotel properties. Perhaps I'm more hostile to the presence of 'mullholland madness' than it deserves, and we haven't yet seen what the new one's going to look like. Except we know it's not going to change all that much. I don't know why they bother - I'd rather see them put in a flower bed instead. And I'd bet the folks staying in those pricey rooms right nearby would agree.
Originally Posted By Dr Hans Reinhardt I don't think the coasters surrounding the eating areas is that big of a deal. The theme is a beer garden at a seaside pier, so if that doesn't suit you there are plenty of other spots to do the same thing elsewhere in the park. Neither of coasters are all that noisy, and from what I remember the music from the jellyfish thing was more distinctly audible than noises coming from the coasters. As for the hotels, I've yet to read any complaints from anyone who has stayed in a room adjacent to the Pier. That doesn't mean that there isn't a problem, but knowing Disney fans there would be something somewhere if it were indeed an issue.

Note that Goofy's Flying School doesn't jive with the concept art for that attraction either: http://www.mouseplanet.info/gallery/d/87746-1/BSC3-072209-AVP.jpg

And if any of the other concept art is an indication, what we get will look nothing like what they've been showing us (though the image in post 5 does to be pretty consistant with the construction so far). And it seems like every time we see more concept art for Mullholland Madness, it looks completely different. That doesn't make me feel better about it at all.

Yes. There must be at least three different versions of Goofy's Sky School floating around the Internet. This is the one I prefer: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_OO7W...hool.jpg But something tells me that what they are building will look more like this: http://i39.tinypic.com/28reds6.jpg Or this: http://www.themouseforless.com...hool.jpg
