Today would have been a Studios/EPCOT day, but we decided to go straight to EPCOT. We get to EPCOT where they are celebrating the annual Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. In an unusual move for me these days, we arrive prior to rope drop, and when the rope does, our first destination is The Land where we get fastpasses for Soarin’. We have about 45 minutes to wait until our passes are valid, so we take some time to have breakfast and then ride Living with the Land. Once done, it is time to head to Soarin’. Next we head over to The Seas with Nemo and Friends, but when we get there, the ride portion of the attraction is not running, so we head in through the gift shop, and over to Turtle Talk with Crush – where the youngsters get to talk with an animated Crush. After the show, we see that the ride is once again running, so we head back out to the front of the building and head through the queue to the ride. From there we head over to Journey into Your Imagination (or whatever they are calling it these days … I have lost track, though it never equaled the original no matter what they call it) and then in to see Honey I Shrunk the Audience. (No hanging spiders in this one. Of course, there were the mice.) Now it was time to take a nice break with a drink and a seat in the sun. We did a little people watching, as well as watching the Tronorail make its way around the beam a few times. On our way over to the other side of Future World (Test Track, Mission: Space and Universe of Energy), we stop to get our ticket for our Kim Possible Adventure. The time is rather soon, so instead of continuing through Future World, we decide to head over to World Showcase and our mission with Kim. We walk past Canada and the UK on our way to pick up our communicator at the International Gateway. Our mission is to be in France. Following our instructions, we follow all the clues, checking them out all through the pavilion before we finally accomplish our mission and save France, helping Kim Possible save the world, one country at a time! With our mission complete, we head past Morocco and Japan where we get to see a performance of The Voices of Liberty followed by the American Adventure in the theater. We continue our trek around World Showcase past Italy, Germany, China and Norway – where we find the standby line a bit too long for now, as we have dinner reservations at the Rose and Crown in the UK, and will be meeting Iris shortly. However, at Mexico Erica encounters Donald and has her picture taken with him before we enter the pyramid and do the ride inside. As we leave, I get a call from Iris that she is just getting into the EPCOT parking lot, so Erica and I continue around, now having made the complete circuit, towards the UK. As we pass Canada we get to hear a little of Off Kilter. As we approach the Rose and Crown we spot Iris who is checking in for our dinner. After we finish, we head over to Italy where Iris has arranged for us to watch Illuminations – Reflections of Earth from a VIP location. And then the day is finished and we head back to All Star Movies and call it a night.

It really is very interesting.I guess it inspires me to have some hope for the future. How many more trip day reports?

There were 5 more days until Erica went home, but they weren't Disney days, so won't be included in this TR ... unless I am begged to include them <G>

When I get text messages from my daughter rubbing it in that she is in a park - it is usually EPCOT. I never saw it as a mall - but more like a World's Fair - which I have always loved!

While I am not a big KP fan myself (Erica is) the adventure is a lot of fun - and not only for kids. I know many adults - myself included - who look forward to doing this when there. Reduced to basics ... it is a big scavenger hunt!
