Then we had the Visa and APs and were so spoiled! Now nothing-boohoo. I thought of upgrading one ticket to a pass but then we'd have to spend a whole lot of money to make the discount pay off the upgrade price so I guess for 5 days it's not worth it. Thanks again. I guess resort hotel guests don't get to skip the monorail line anymore either?

I swear though, that you and ursula were on this board the last time I was planning maybe 4 years ago! I can't remember where the exit for the monorail used to be? Changed because of finding nemo subs? That was under construction last time and we haven't seen it yet but I remember riding the subs when 15 year old ds was a baby! I did a search and found out the aaa discounts were just cancelled recently, like in the spring so that was a surprise since they've had that for as long as I can remember. Remember when you could get "unlimited" fast pass with aaa. Aaah, those were the good ol days!

The entrance is between the Nemo entrance and Autopia. It's kind of hidden between the two. Look up for the signage. I've been on LP since 2002 and Ursula was here well before me I love trip planning

No wonder I recognize your names. I am going to look for my old trip reports and print them out to save if I can find them. My dd doesn't really remember much at all. I love trip planning too. I almost wish we had started way sooner planning because that is a lot of the fun for me. Still, I am thrilled to be going again after all these years even with just a month's notice. This morning I got a southwest "ding" and am half tempted to book flights instead of driving but it is still expensive when you have 5 people going-$700! It seems so nice and easy to leave the airport and be in DL in 2 hours but then I have to remember we live almost 1 1/2 hours from the airport, you have to get there 1 1/2 hours ahead of time and then transportation to the hotel time so I can't decide if it is worth it or not since our drive is only 8 hours, 6 if la traffic is not snagged up. Pay $700 to get there in 5+hours flying or drive and get there in 6-8 for waaay less money? I just get so exhausted being stuck in the car for so long and i know we'll have a better chance of getting a good room if we can check in early. If I hadn't just booked the fantasmic dessert, I might be more tempted but I will just have to think about it today. Luckily my kids are at camp so I can spend time doing research. Thanks again for all of your help and it's so nice to come back here and see all these familiar names!
