It was a very funny show for it's time, thanks to the up and coming talents of Tom Hanks and Peter Scolari, as well as the supporting cast, including Sperber. Her acting credits also include the Steven Spielberg movie "1941" as well as playing Marty McFly's sister in all three "Back to the Future" movies. She is survived by 2 children and her parents.

I think you're thinking of The Naked Gun. There is a scene where Lt. Drebin jumps in a student driver car & tells the gal where to go & Houseman is the instructor. I've always loved that scene.

    From imdb.com

Truck Driver: [shouts] Ya dumb broad!

Driving instructor: All right, Stephanie, gently extend your arm. Extend your middle finger. Very good. Well done.
