We have lots of time in between and after games on Sat & Sunday. Any suggestions on what to do with a group of 11-year-old boys? Our hotel is actually in Irvine.

My only Southern California experience has been DL & Universal!

    Thanks for any advice!

Do lunch and perhaps ride the carrousel and the ferris wheel. Do some shopping at places like Barnes and Noble, Robinson/May, Nordstrom ... and they have a 3D Imax theater with 20 other movie theaters.

Another place to hit, ALSO, in Irvine....

Get your bikini and swim trunks and hit some great slides!

I'd say this is SoCals 2nd best water park. Just behind Raging Waters in San Dimas.

For edutainment ... you could take him here........

In view from the Santa Ana 5 Freeway ... this sits next door to Main Place mall at what is called the Orange Crush. Where the 5,22, and 57 freeways merge.

All three places sit in the middle between DL and Mission Viejo.
