Disney hasn't confirmed or mentioned anything, it just showed up out of nowhere on Micechat last week.

They still do the Country Bear Christmas Show in Tokyo Disneyland though. I've seen it and even though all the dialogue is in Japanese it is still just as cute as ever. That's a holiday overlay that stands up to the test of time. Unless you are Team Disney Orlando, which only wants to build more DVC timeshare units. The Japanese still know how to celebrate Christmas with the bears though.

I think it could be fun if they added in 2-3 holiday-related jokes, since the skippers are always changing their speils anyway. I wouldn't want to see them add any holiday-related props to the scenery, since it wouldn't make any sense in the jungle theme, but I see nothing wrong with updating the dialogue a little. And that way, if it's a horrible failure, they can just switch back to the regular jokes without any problems
