It is my wife's favorite ride in all of Disney (having visited 8 Disney parks, she is experienced), and my MIL's 2nd fav. It was my grand mother's and great grandmother's fav too. My brothers loved it until their teen years too. I know it's not everyone's fav (personally I cannot be bothered to wait more than 10 mins for Space Mountain - and would not care if they ripped it out of DL). We all have different tastes. And that is my point - why must it be bloody toons everywhere?

I'm pretty sure that my parents didn't like it (I know my dad hates it), but that didn't stop me from connecting with it. Even when I rubbed some sunscreen in my eye while riding, making for a very painful couple of hours, I still managed to enjoy it.
