AS the artical explains, Eisner, once again, had his fingers in the decision making pie, and ultimately was the one who nixed it after they had the working attraction. No wonder our ticket prices keep going up. Personally, I LOVED ALIEN ENCOUNTER. Its 3D effects were ground breaking. ( and I chuckled the day we were leaving and this fellas girl friend was hitting him for taking her into a "scary" show. How often did/does Disney come up with something that is interesting and catches your eye, or fears, the way Alien Encounter did???? Alright, enough of me.... Lets see if Eisner was right... How did you feel about the Alien Encounter Attraction at WDW??? I think it was great, I miss it a lot and feel STITCH is a waste of valuable space. I also feel AE was a Love it or Hate it type of attraction. What is your view point. Do read the artical, it give some insight to what happened behind the scenes. ID

It should have been moved there instead of dumbed down with a Stitch overlay. Which is really strange as I like Stitch. But the only good about SGE is the AA Stitch and the Plasma Cannons. Everything else, especially the story-line, really stinks. (yes, pun intended, although I didn't mind the chili dog burp)

Originally Posted By TMICHAEL >>>Tim Curry as SIR was magnificent<<< I was going to bring that up too, absolutely loved S.I.R. I like Richard Kind but Disney turned a completely excellent pre-show with the intimidatingly wonderful S.I.R. into something kind of stupid and forgettable. Which is the problem with SGE, the entire thing is now a forgettable waste of time.

The ride used the psychology of terror, and for those sensitive to it, it was truly terrifying. I personally thought it was not a good attraction because of poor repeatability. Once you knew what happened there was no point to it. That's not to say I like Stitch... one of the most worthless attractions Disney has ever come up with.

The attraction had warnings posted EVERYWHERE and they must have announced warnings in the attraction itself a hundred times before entering the main showroom. The new Stitch overlay is just pathetic to me. If it's a family-oriented park, then why don't they have attractions for the WHOLE family and not just the kiddies. Sorry, just venting... I loved AE
