    I've been in a significant hurricane (Wilma) and a major earthquke (5.3). I guess I prefer a hurricane because at least you know when it is coming and you can prepare for it. The aftermath of both is very similar though.

    I eat chocolate more often...but enjoy them both. Chocolate ice cream. Vanilla cake.

    I'v been in both, being from California, and now living in Oklahoma. Iwent through an F-5 hurricane and I think I would rather go though that , because you do know when they are coming.

    I don't like those either. When I was 5 or so living in Indiana my house was hit by a tornado while I was at home and it took the roof right off. Noone was hurt even though we didn't have a basement. We all huddled in the hallway.

    Wow, why did I think one of my choices was Tornado. After careful re-evaluation I would prefer Hurricanes but only because of their predictability. If you get out in a clearing I think an Earthquake is less dangerous to one's health.
