I found a friend from this time and it was great re-connecting. Of course, you must be careful with Facebook and strangers, but so far I have found friendship in its midst.

I would have never been able to find him due to his common name - my maiden name is very unusual tho. He was the most fun, crazy person, and it kept me smiling for a couple days, remembering old times. While he lives far from me now, I look forward to getting together with him in the future. It's really fantastic!

If someone wont take the hint, then you can block them so they cant have anything to do with you at all on there. You can make your page as private as you want. Most have theirs only viewable to friends, others are open to everyone . You can also alter the settings for none friends to be able to send you a private message or not. Or even to be totally none searchable ( I did that for my son)
