Your observation may very well be the case, but considering that DVC units could occupy much more space than a standard hotel room when you consider multi-bedroom units and kitchens, it could very well be that many units extend across the building to include both the savannah and parking lot sides. I have not idea if this is the case, but wouldn't necessarily draw the same conclusions just from looking at an artist's rendering.

It always seemed odd to me that a DVC one bedroom which costs twice as much as a studio will only sleep four when many of the studios (those with a day bed) will sleep five. I never needed to sleep 5 in a one bedroom, but wanted to be able to sleep four without my 30 year-old son having to share a hide-a-bed with his 23 year-old sister. YUCK!! Now we could all stay in a one bedroom without offending sensibilities.
