Boma is a wonderful buffet restaurant that has three or four different soups every night. They are all fantastic. (My friends and I joke that Boma translates to "Try the soup!") If I were to stay on property, I would choose the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

The drawback is the distance from the Magic Kingdom, so we split our stay. 4 nights at Wilderness Lodge, 3 nights at Animal Kingdom Lodge, and did the MK and Epcot when we were at WL, and MGM and AK when we were at AKL.

I don't understand that mentality, but everyone's different. If I didn't live so close, I'd be staying there on most of my trips. I still spend loads of time dining there and walking around.

Though I've yet to stay at AKL Ive been there several times to dine, and Jiko is especially worth going out of your way. Pricey but worth it.
