These same people when polled about alternative power sources have this to say...Fossil fuels = No! Polluting, non-renewable, too expensive, so last century. Solar = No! Too expensive, ruins environmental aesthetics. Wind = OMG No! I bought my super inflated home so I could see those mountains...I don't want to have to look at those giant fans. Hydro = No! We cannot upset the mating habits of the "whatever" fish whose homing ordeal is blocked by those damn dams. The result is constant complaints without any willingness to accept whatever alternatives we have available to us. Everyone will be happy as soon as we all end up back in caves sitting around a fire. Oh wait...that would mean the destruction of trees and more air pollution not to mention we all would die by the age of 35. Small price to pay for a nice view.

Are there alternatives? Maybe, but none that anyone will be willing to pay for, so it's a mute point. Anyway, with all that said...my sympathies to the family of that man and to the people that had to witness it. Just remember that it was an accident. Accidents happen and if they didn't they would be known as Intentionals.
