I have heard everything form a cars land at DHS, the little mermaid darkride at the MK, beastly kingdom at DAK, MT. fuji at the Japan pavillion at EPCOT. Anyone heard anything solid and what does everyone think should happen?

They did nothing for the 30th because it was Walt's 100. Not knocking the 100, that was a real milestone, but I was there during the 30th year and expected some celebration.

Beyond a tiny handful of merchandise you would never know the parks were celebrating landmark years... (oh I forgot Epcot got the display in the back of Club Cool)

As much as I would love to see new attractions, shows etc for a milestone a few banners and some mention of the milestone beyond the actual day wouldve been nice too...

I think wdw missed it *BIG* time with Epcot- 25 is a good milestone and as it was the first non MK its a company milestone as well... I can understand why with 4 parks itd be hard to celebrate them all but to me 5/10/25 should be celebrated even if its only within the park..

Yes, this November Mickey turns 80. He and my mom are the same age, but he's a month older :).

I wouldn't be surprised if another scam, I mean celebration, is in the works for the 40th. I'll bet that we won't get any new major attractions even if they do decide to "celebrate" the 40th.
