We spent the time waiting until 4PM at our favorite toy store, Magic Mouse toys, right across the street of the BBQ hut. Bought number 9 and 0 sparkler for DH's grandfather's 90th bday cake. (We are throwing him a dinner party in Sept. so we are always on the look out for things on our list.) We played with all the toys. They had some really fun pirate stuff including pirate bandages, they are black with skull and cross bones all over them, a neat-o lunch box, figurines, oh and bacon bandages, and gummy bacon too! I thought if I were going to the big meet I'd have to bring gummy bacon and pirate bandages for all! Just lots of really cool stuff, we love that store! Here's a link to some of the stuff in the store. Great gag and unique gifts. check it out! http://www.mcphee.com/ Around 4 we pried ourselves away from the, "oooohhh I gotta have thats, and the, I wants" and walked across the street and met up with Jazzy and CJ who were outside waiting for us. They both looked very well. We chatted for a bit waiting to see if any one else would join us then headed inside and had a finger lickin, lip smackin' good dinner. DH, CJ, and I had the Big John, german sausage topped with a pile of BBQ beef, served with beans and coleslaw. It was fantastic! DH and I also had their cornbread with honey butter, also good. Jazzy was born to be wild and different. She had a french dip and salad. The aujus was a little too salty. I'll stay away from that next time. We talked about our trips to Disney, LP, visiting Yakima, our work place and life as we know it. All that talk made us hungry for dessert of course, Jazzy's eagle eye for ice cream had us roaming pioneer square, yea we're brave like that, for a place she saw when they parked. It ended up being Mario's the pizza place which sold Dreyer's too! A grand end to a great evening with friends. Thank you both for driving over and setting up a meet We had a really good time! Now I'm at work and need to take a nap....zzzzZZZzzzzzzzZZZZZzzzzzzz |-o Will download pictures tomorrow I left the camera in the van. :-\
