He had gotten to know many of the DAK managers (including the one he would be working with) during his days as a CP, and had remained as a Campus Rep during the next 2.5 years. He had hoped that he might have an inside track. He also had a strong animal background, having worked at a zoo through college as well. He didn't get it, as the competition was very strong, and there was only one position being offered. Apply for it if you have the qualifications, but be realistic about your chances. If you get it though - be prepared for a great experience.

In all three of the positions he has held since them, having Disney on his resume has opened some eyes ... particularly at the American Museum of Natural History where he worked for a while.

To make a *really* long story short- I now have had 4 seperate hire dates (which means I will have had 3.5 years total here before Im eligible for my 1 year pin)have baffled both access control AND casting in the last 3 weeks among other things... Sad part- I still want to be here though the outside world is starting to call where I know I wont regret my internship at all -em

Assuming they haven't added any more in recent years, that is, but it sounds like I shouldn't plan on it. I do have the qualifications they require, like animal work and research experience, so I applied for both animal behavior and conservation biology. I guess now it is just wait and see! em, thanks for the good luck wishes!
